Close Rape
When I was 13 a man took me in his car back to his place and raped me. I was so ashamed and afraid that for 15 years, I had never told a sole what happened and spent every night waking up to see his face floating above me. I considered myself broken and refused to let friends or family get to close. I have become afraid I everything and have very little self confidence. After years of being on anti depressants and seeing my psychologist, last week I was finally able to tell her was happened. I feel like I have a mountain ahead of me, but I am now ready to climb it.
