and I can't get you off my mind

but no longer is this the gentle rain

of when I wrote that song of love, so kind

It's pouring outside

this weather makes me worry

I grow frightened and want to hide

but you must still love me, surely

 The lightning freezes

a moment of time, of beauty

but that power makes me tremble with unease

 and I want to run and hold you desperately

But that ocean divides us

and I feel alone,

 and cornered by myself,

I start to re-question everything
