Close Asbestosis

I had chest pains, BP spiked, then went to the ER. No heart damage, but they put me on Vasotec, that helped a lot. After all the test were in, they say I have asbestosis in my lungs and abdomen. Go figure. The only known asbestis exposure was when I was a little girl and met my Dad when he came home from working in the shipyard. He passed away a couple of years ago from asbestosis. His clothes were always dusty, so it must of been asbestis that is all I can figure. I have had few symptoms, but now, I am putting 2 and 2 together, and can relate to some of my physical problems. I am going to a lung specialist soon. What else do I do, will he tell me everything?
