Good Morning Everyone!! Now that I have the paperwork and bill project done and I have my diningroom table back, I have started on the kitchen. This morning Bob cleaned out the refridgerator so I had containers to wash. It is amazing how much containers add up. Today was garbage day, so we wanted to get all the junk out of the fridge. I also want to clean the microwave and toaster oven, scrub down the countertops and arange the pantry to see what I have. I don't think I need to go shopping this week we are so stocked up, but we are going to the Grand Opening of the Giant Eagle Market District to see what happenings they have and samples too. They showed it on the news today and they had a cooking competition just like on the Food Network. They also have a section where they grow vegetables in a nutrient rich solution instead of soil. It is free of pesticides since it is grown indoors in the artifical light. Amazing and Cool. I can't wait to see it and all the exotic fares they carry.
Today was pajama day for Nick. He wore his polar bear lounge pants and a thermal top. He looked really cute. Tomorrow they have off due to parent/teacher confrence. i have an appointment at 9:50 for a confrence. Then at 10:30 I have another weekly blood test. So far so good on them. Then we are going to the library to renew the book "September" and retreive the book that was ordered from the Carnegie Library called "1, 2, 3 Magic" It is a parenting book recommended by my therapist. The book "September" is very good. It reminds me of a Scottish version of a Jane Austin book. The characters are well drawn and colorful and the area is protrayed in great detail. It is a story about o community is Scottland that is getting ready for a big dance coming out party of such. It is also about the intertwined lives of the characters. I love great character books. I can't wait to read in the last semiwarm and sunshiny days this weekend as the boys do the lawn. Bob has a lawn mower that has a mulch attachment.
It is so fun during football season. There is something cozy and comforting watching football on Sunday folding laundry my husband has washed for me. And the snacks. How fun!! I am not sure what we will have on Sunday. Maybe wings would be fun. They are usually cheap. Tonight, as requested by Nick, is taco night. Tomorrow eggplant paramsan. Sunday is meatloaf and mashpotaotes and green beans. I have to use up the produce. We are having all the toppings on our tacos including avacados. Yum.
So much needs done around the house. But I am able to do only one project at a time. Patience, right? LOL
Well back to the kitchen. I hope you all are having awonderful day!! - Julie
