Good Morning Everyone!! I hope you all enjoyed your Tuesday! I had a fun day shopping with my mom. We went to JCPenny's and got some clothes for Nick and at Aldi's where my mom got a Gingerbread Haunted House for Nick and I to decorate. Of course he wanted to decorate it immediately after homework. I want to clean off an area to do it however first. Also I wasn't feeling well all day, tired, and after homework I got the chills and was running the low grade fever of 100.1 with an achy feeling. Bob took care of dinner and I didn't fell like moving under my 3 blankets let alone eat. I wasn't hungry anyway. Bob made me tea with honey to help me warm up. We watched Biggest Loser only until 9 pm. I could never do what they do. They are so committed to the excersize and diet. Then we went up and read. Nick got his "Wimpy Kid Diary; Dog Days" that we had ordered from the book fair. He is up to page 20. I tried to get into my murder mystery but I was pretty tired. Bob stayed up and watched the end of the Biggest Loser.
Yesterday we were suppose to go to Kmart to get Nick costume, Scream, but with me not feeling good we put htat off. Then tonight is return uniforms/pizza party. Tomorrow is the firstPTA meeting. Maybe we will go Friday to get his costume.
So today I am going to clean the dining room of papers so we can build that Ginerbread house. I want to get ready to start putting away my summer clothes for the winter so I can put my winter clothes in the drawers. I have been wanting to do that for a while but haven't been able because of the stitch coming out of the tube.
I have my appointment made for my first consultation on the Avastin. I made it after I get my port flushed tomorrow at 2 pm. No actual treatment tomorrow, just letting me know what to expect.
I am making chicken leg and thigh quarters today with rice and corn or peas. The chicken was only 59 cents per pound. Bob also signed up for a drawing for free groceries or other gifts (I think a large screen tv was on thing).
I hope all goes smoothly with my insurance, UPMC for Life, and the Avastin. Please Pray that it does.
It is chilly today, so I am cozy in sweats. Nick wore his new jeans, his new red thermal football shirt and a heavy sweatshirt. Fall is really upon us now. The trees are so beautiful.

Hope your chills are gone and you`re feeling better. My oncologist gave me a flu shot a few weeks ago, have you had one? He said we`re at risk with anyone who`s carrying the germ. Good luck with you Avastin coverage.

I have a Dr James, my PCP, appointment on Fri so I'll get the shot then. Yes my chills are gone. I don't have as much energy as I wish I did, however. I did get the buffet side table cleaned off and ready for the Haunted Gingerbread House. Next I am going to work on the bedroom. Thanks for the Good Luck on the Avastin. I hate the waiting game. I hope you two's day is wonderful. When does fall weather come in Huston, TX Anita?

Hi Julie,
I sure hope your Ins. covers the Avastin. My ins. did not cover it because they said it wasn't approved by the FDA for overian cancer. I am sure you a differant ins.than I do so hopefully you will be approved.
I am amazed just how much you do around the house. You are entitled to have some down days. You will have to taake some pictures of Nick and the holleween decorations. Hugs, Carol
