  Dear Julie
  Is still consider Avastin to be a "wonder drug". The biggest problem is trying to battle my insurance to cover its high costs. My CA levels dropped to 115 while on carboplatin/taxol and then started increased to 322 at the end of the cycle. Then my oncologist put me on Doxil and they tripled to 984. Presently I`m at 20. I never thought I`d see these numbers, especially since I was at 7500 when first diagnosed. Avastin isn`t chemo but is an angiogenesis that blocks the blood flow to existing tumors. My chemo is Gemzar, which is supposed to kill any existing cancer.I think you`ll be pleasantly surprised with your CA levels after the first few treatments. I hope you`re getting out and about in your new Taurus so you can begin driving your busy son,again. Lots of love,

  Dear Julie
  I`m happy to hear that the tumor has shrunk and that you`ll be getting Avastin, it has NO side effects except some sneezing and a stuffy nose :) Presently I go to chemo every other week! I was sorry to hear that they didn`t remove the bag, however I`m sure they`ll do it ASAP when they think the timing is right. I hope you get out and start driving your new Taurus soon! Lots of love,

:) i got a pumpkin spice iced latte, CHEERS!!! :) we then went shopping at the dollar store, it was so much fun! :) we had a nice time shopping. :) i bought a spooky spook-tacular ghost decorative! :) the shopping experience went very well. :) i am so very happy and excited!!!
