I HAVEN'T BEEN ON AT ALL VERY MUCH AS THERE ARE WAY TOOO MANY THINGS GOING ON IN MY LIFE RIGHT NOW, GOOD AND BAD. ALSO, MY CHRONIC FATIGUE HAS REALLY BEEN ATTACKING ME SEVERELY EVERY DAY! SO I HAVE ONLY BEEN IN AND OUT OF BED MOST DAYS, AND WHEN IDO FEEL UP TO PAR, I GO DOWN TO THE U. OF A AND VISIT MY DAD IN THE HOSPITAL. HE HAS BEEN IN THERE NOW FOR ABOUT 23 DAYS AND WE ARE PRAYING THAT THEY ARE FINDING OUT THE PROBLEM AND GET HIM RESOLVED WITH HIS ISSUES! SO, JUST THAT ONE PROBLEM IS ALOT TO DEAL WITH AS HE IS STILL LIVING WITH US, BUT NOT HERE AS OFTEN AS WITH THIS HOSPITAL STAY!! I HOPE AND PRAY THAT YOU HAD A GREAT XMAS AND A GOOD YEAR TO COME! I AM GOING TO TRY AND WRITE ONTO MY JOURNAL EXPLAINING SOME OF THE ISSUES I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH ASAP OK? SO THEN WE WILL TALK AGAIN SOON ENOUGH. I have medical conditions: diabetes, hep C, arthritis, gerd, diverticular disease, cervical and lumbar spondylosis, and fibromyalgia all making menopause quite difficult at times.
FMS symptoms presented in Dec 06 at the same time I was diagnosed with cervical and lumbar spondylosis but was hardly noticed because I was exercising regularly at the time. Since then I lost my job and have become less active making the fibro almost unbearable. I’m also a diabetic, have gerd, and was exposed to hcv when I worked at a hospital as a phlebotomist. Getting back into physical shape is proving to be my biggest challenge in life.
Former health care worker diagnosed in 2001.
Diagnosed in 2001 along with diverticulitis.
Multiple chronic conditions. Like to write, garden, and watch birds.
Over the years my rugged independence has morphed into loneliness. As a single parent, whose child has grown, my close friends have dwindled. I've done all the right things, joined clubs, etc, but only several shallow friendships have formed. The only communication lately is online, which is unfulfilling.
