About Me
Hey, My name is Kai and I am a junior in College going into teaching Special Ed and elementary ed. I love my family but only see them every few monthes because I attend school across the country from them. I live in CA but go to school in the North east. I am a Christian, but that is so broad a thing to say that I think I will say that I live for and love God and Jesus and try to follow God's will in my life. I would be happy to discuss God at anytime and am always willing to attempt to answer any questions you may have about my faith and my relationship.

Close Dyspraxia & Apraxia
Until I have time to fill this in I will just say that I have dyspraxia but it has not been officially diagnosed because I cannot afford the 250$ fee to get a psychiatrist to evaluate me. But I have been evaluated by a Learning Disability Help Center person who said that there are so many signals that I do have it that there is only a 5% chance I don't have it... and then who knows why am me... : )
Close Celiac Disease
I have had the symptoms of Celiac Disease for a long time and my father was diagnosed at age 3 and My mothere 4 years ago. It was then that I thought to try a gluton free diet and life has improved. I'm also intolerant to and allergic to many other foods. It is amazing how much life has improved in the past 2 years and things I hadn't noticed that went away. My skin in pink instead of pale, I don't get stomach aches every day anymore, I have more energy and am less grouchy.
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- being careful has really been the best way to manage for me.
- Dairy-Free Diet Working / Worked
- farewell icecream and milkshakes... and cheese sniffle...
- Gluten Free Diet Working / Worked
- oh but I miss my doughnuts
Open Food Allergies
Type of allergy: Other FoodsStarted developing food allergies when I was about 10. We think I may have had some of them before that but didn't realize them until I was older.
Treatments
- Allergy Shots Working / Worked
- Used to get 3 to 4 sinus infections each year and since starting shots I have had zero in three years.
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- Avoiding foods I am allergic to certainly helps the best.
- Zyrtec Working / Worked
- helps a lot.
