I hope that you are doing well. When I was first diagnosed, the meds didn't work very well. Now, there's so much more available. From experience I can encourage you to make sure and keep the stress levels down. RA is definately related to stress. I have a long history with Ra, is there anything in particular that you'd like for me to share?

It was hard going through his things. We were able to help out my cousin by giving them his tv/dvd player, as they are going through hard times and just lost their house. Also my daughter got his bedroom dresser and shelf and chest, my nephew needed a new bed so he got mikeys bed that was fairly new. We donated most all his clothes. I got Mikeys bible. Which means so much to me. Mikey was a big part of me getting started to church when we moved to this town. He was always wanting to go to church and in that I got more in touch with my religion. We are joining that church as members (officially) this coming sunday!-

Hi Krisann, i am trying to send hugs to all my friends on here today. I think i have been neglecting dailystrength, but the truth is now i need you all more than ever! Mikeys belongings are not in the house now but he is still in my heart and will always be.

Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
Its been 6 months now since being diagnosed with RA. My meds are working pretty good. Not really any pain just stiffness in my knees depending on the day and weather. I am off the prednisone but I had gained back the 30 lbs I lost last fall which I think pisses me off more than having RA (smile). I just wish I wasn't so tired and had more energy to do a regular exercise routine to lose the weight again.
Treatments
- Methotrexate Working / Worked
- Emu Oil Working / Worked
- Hard to tell if it is the oil that is working but when I use it I feel better. Can't hurt.
Close Down Syndrome
Hannah is a typical 16 year old teenager going on 30. Can't grow up fast enough. She is my middle kid and at times drives me crazy lol. I am a single mom just diagnosed with Rhuematoid Arthritus and Hannah is my biggest helper and supporter. I wouldn't know what to do without her.
Open Hidradenitis Suppurativa
My daughter Hannah has HS. She got it when she started puberty at 13. She also has down's.

I have two daughters, one is 17 with Down syndrome and the other is 14 1/2. The 14 year old is the one that is driving me crazy. Whatever I say she says the opposite and of course I am always wrong. LOL. Lord just let me get through her teenage years.
