61 year old female, dx with cml oct,2007. currently taking 300 mg gleevec, the life saving drug, im so greatful four. no side effects so far, only weight gain. very active, love exercise, reading , movies, love time spent with family and friends. doing my own research on cml. online.

I’m With You
I`m so glad to hear your doing so well with the Gleevec.I`m taking 400mg.a day,and my last bone marrow biopsi showed I`m in complete remission.The only side effects I have experienced is a rash and some itching,which has subsided quite a bit.I also "search thr web" for information,its quite helpful AND reassuring to share my situation with others--Good Luck to you--Jimmy in Mesa,Arizona.

- when first dx i started gleevec 600 mg liver toxic then went to 400mg made white blood count drop now on 300 mg doing well on this dose
