Reflecting
I thank the Lord for the strength He gave me today to be able to enjoy the day babysitting my 21 month old grandson. We played all day. I love that …
I'm 51 years old and have been teaching elementary school for 29 years now. My husband and I have been married for 31 years and were blessed with 3 children who are now young adults. I'm a NEW grandmother of a precious little boy. Being a grandparent is fantastic, by the way! I also try to be active in my church working with the children.

It was a good day. Good friends and family. Good food. Thank you, Lord, for the blessings.
I'm doing my best to give my worries to God today.
I've been tired today. I was able to be lazy this morning because I didn't have to be at physical therapy until 1. I really believe my …
Well, I survived the injection. LOL! The dr. only did one knee (the right) because for some reason my insurance wouldn't pay for 2 at a time. It …

HUGS
Thanks for the hug, Sadie! I'm so glad you did well with your injection! Now you'll know what to expect when you get your other knee injected. Insurance companies. What can ya say about them, right? It's just too bad you couldn't have gotten both knees done on the same day! Wonder what their reasoning was to make you wait till next week to have your other knee done. Maybe they want to see how you'll do with the first knee. Anyway, I hope it helped you!
Gotta keep trying!!!
I've recently had arthroscopic knee surgery on my left knee. A lot of grade 3 and 4 arthritis was found and worked on. I'm now working on recovery. I started back to work Monday 12/1/08 but am having a hard time walking the long hallways with crutches, especially since my "good" knee is acting out now.
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 20 years ago after having my twin girls. It took my finally pitching a fit in a doctor's office in order to get a serious diagnosis. Until then I was just looked at as a hypochondriac. Presently I am able to work as a teacher and function with some medicines and as much sleep as I can get. It is a daily struggle though. Complications with osteoarthritis and diabetes have made my life even harder.
My depression is from my chronic pain.
I've lived with chronic pain for so many years. I believe a lot of my symptoms began after my thyroid stopped working but wasn't diagnosed for many months. Years later I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and arthritis.
