Close Behcet's Disease
hi, I was diagnosed in 1989, but i think i only have it mildly compared to some people, have good and bad days, dont do too much and overstretch myself. Im female called sharon and live in france where i have a good daoctor who knows about Behcets. also have a very understanding hubby.
Treatments
- Methotrexate Working / Worked
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- prednisone is fantastic, no side effects and feel like a spring chicken would like to stay on this for longer than is possible.
- Colchicine Not Working
- upset my stomach not strong enough
- Azathioprine Working / Worked
- couldnt tolerate this very well though i was in cloud cuckoo land apparently my liver was metabolising this and the effects were just building up.Had to stop using rather quickley.
