Happy Baking Friday and Happy Birthday America.........
Oh my what an interesting Baking Friday.......baking with New flours......Have to say this one was much better than the last time I tried a new flour & Yuck had to throw them out!!! LOL... But these are edible...They called for mashed bananas....Brz can't have bananas so I just added a little water & tried them without them....Didn't think about it til after I was done baking...That I could have replaced the bananas with unsweetened applesauce......So will try that next time....Trial & Error...lol...But as expensive as these prouducts can be I have to try NOT to screw them up to bad...!!!!! :) So was Happy they are edible just a little dry...So maybe the applesauce will give them the moisture......
Made an elk meatloaf, escarole with lemon sauce, and sauteed up some red cabbage with onions & garlic, with avacado topped with flaxseed oil, tamari & paprika...That was our baking friday dinner this time instead of fish....
I have been reading through the Candida Cookbook that listless sent me...Today i went back to Natures Bounty & picked up some more flours & baking supplies......Now I can make heavier things like biscuits & breads ect to help fill that void so Brz won't feel hungry all the time...Eating lots of veggies are goos but can still make you feel hungry...And I got some more grains to experience with........
Weather has been chilly...We have had Rain & some storms everyday since last Saturday....Not 1 day has passed without some rain at some time of the day...which breeds the skeeters........We need some straight sunny days for the plants.... I so hope we have nice weather next week for Camping trip.....
Well my day was a good one.....The Sun is breaking thru behind me....It's far off to the west..........Gonna head over to my gallery to post my pics...Then gotta start getting Lanies things gathered that needs to go home with her on Sunday.........
We made plans for 4th of July....
We are going to St Clair Saturday for the fireworks..........We have some friends that has an icecream parlor/meatmarket/home over by where the fireworks are happening...So instead of going to our buddy Marks as we have for the past 8 yrs & doing our own fireworks; this year we changing it up...lol...And haven't seen some of the friends from that way in awhile...So a change will be nice...:)
Brz met some of the people he plays World of Warcraft with online.....He found out they live very close to us...Maybe 45 mins away.....I thought they lived in Detroit which is still close, but they are even closer than that...So that was great Brz got to meet his online friends....They having financial troubles; as alot of People are these days.....So I made up a carebox or should I say 3...Plus a bag of meats.....and he took over to them...Then he took them to our friends with the ice cream parlor to treat them to an icecream...They got to meet some of our friends...Hopefully if the weather is nice so that I do get to go to the fireworks I will get to meet them...they are going to the fireworks too....

Happy 4th of July, and Happy birthday America! :) awww! :) hi angel Deb, and family! :) this is such a wonderfully heart warming journal. :) We're so very happy you all are doing well, and that you enjoyed a great fun baking friday adventure. :) It's so very nice, getting to share our adventures with everyone. :) we always look forward to sharing our adventures each week, and seeing what everyone baked. :) lots of great fun times, and many very special memories being made. :) The foods and goodies you cooked and baked, sound so delicious! :) We wish we could come over for dinner. :) i can almost smell the delicious treats cooking and baking. :) Lots of great things to look forward too. :) We're so very happy that Brz got a chance to meet some of his friends from the online game. :) it's so cool, that they play the game, and got chance to meet in person, and now will always be able to remember the great fun visit. :) You and Brz are so very nice, to give them some care packages. :) Your wonderful kindness, and generousity i am sure they deeply appreciate. :) it's wonderful banding together, to help eachother through the rough times. *hugs*
