How's life in the dementia ward? The last few days I have felt like tearing my hair out by it's grey roots. Fusturation . Now I really know the definition of that word. And don't we all. I am the youngest (46) of six sibs taking care of the oldest (57) who I don't know well and has dementia due to chronic exposure to organic solvants. He was a fantastic furniture maker whose wife divorced him when he got sick about 3-4 years ago. My husband and I were starting adoption procedings when God sent my brother to live with us.
I'm a massage therapist who has a client who is nurse that had meniere's and said it was not curable when she came to me. She no longer has dizziness nad the ear ringing only comes when she is stressed.
Too long to tell here. Abusive home, started drinking in 5th grade, did all drugs but heroin - it's addicting ya know - got sober 1/29/1995 haven't slipped since thank God.
Was in payroll for 11 years, customer service for 30 + years and it was ok. Now I'm a massage therapist for 2 1/2 years (incl school) and love it!

My mom died 20 years ago 9/5 she was given two years to live and died in 5 weekstoday we found out our friend was diagnosed with a few months to live.
