    • About Me

I am married...we will celebrate 4 years in November. We each have a son from a previous marriage and both are grown and out on they're own. We both work full time and live for our weekends. We took up fresh water fishing this past year and enjoy spending time on our pontoon. I always take a book and my current crochet project so that when I get bored with fishing, I can relax under the canopy while he gets his fishing fix.....dispite the ED, we have a wonderful relationship.

    • Close Impotence & Erectile Dysfunction

My husband had surgery in July of 2006 to have his prostate removed due to cancer. Since that time things have not been quite the same....we have tried so many things to help with ED, but nothing has worked thus far. My husband also have Type 2 Diabetics and that is not helping I am sure. Our last option is an implant, but our insurance does not cover anything related to ED, so that expense is out of our pocket...and my husband is honestly not sure he wants to do something like that. Its been a difficult two years regarding that.

    • Close Prostate Cancer

My husband underwent a Prostatectomy in July of 2006. Then in March of 2007 he had to go thru 8 weeks of Radiation Therapy. He is now just 48, so he was only 46 when he had the surgery. I am both thankful and grateful to write that he is doing very well with good quality of life. That C word is so ugly and yet in my heart I know it could have been so much worse. However, he has not been able to ever have an erection since the surgery. Implants are the only solution left.

      Treatments

      Prostatectomy Working / Worked
We went to Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa and they were wonderful.
      Radiotherapy Working / Worked
Underwent 8 weeks and so far...it looks good.
