I am still recovering from the surgery, today is my one month anniversary. I have had very bad days and some good days, and it seems that I can feel things healing up back there. The one thing that sucks very bad is that I cannot sleep on my side or stomach - i always have to sleep on my back and I hate it. They put me on Ambien bcz I have problems sleeping. There are some days that I regret having the surgery because of so much pain, and then I remember that if I didnt have the surgery things could have gotten very bad. Some nights I sleep in my recliner and have no problems at all in the morning. I wonder why that is? I know it still has not been enough time to heal up but some days I get really depressed but I figure from what I have read that this is normal. Time will heal. Toodles, TT

Have been away for 2-3 weeks, so have been very silent - glad to hear the op. is over: having good & bad days is pretty normal my dear - I'd hate to have to sleep on my back all the time: that's a real drag - so I hope it will not be for much longer. hang in there: you would not like to end up bent over badly like me, so it's as well that you did have the surgery. Sleeping is difficult to deal with, and it's wonderful when you can find a 'spot' that will work, even if it's only for one night! Hope the good days will soon occur alot more often than the bad days, and the benefits of your surgery will shine thru!
