Thank goodness the OCT 14th day is over, I am so glad. At one point before the surgery I realized that I would like to wake up and be in pain and see my children grow up rather than worry about not waking up. The whole time I would think about my kids and how much they need me to come back home so I made it through it. Im not going to sugar coat it, It has been very difficult for the pain management, but I know I can do it. I posted more info about the surgery on the scoliosis support group. I cant wait to go shopping at Christmas time and see how many medal detectors that I dont get through with 32 screws and 2 rods in my back. HAHAHA. Thanks to my many friends that have given me positive information. My doc says I have a very good outlook, so I guess Im one of the lucky ones.

Sounds like you do have a good outlook! I set off the metal detector at a few places. Kinda funny, the people that work in the stores, etc., looked embarrassed when that happened! I thought it was funny! Glad your surgery is over, and glad to hear that things are going pretty well for ya. Take care, xxx
