About Me
Hello, I have had Fibromyalgia/Chronic pain now for 6.5 years. I also have IBS and intersticial cystitis(since I was 20) I have had a 15 yr nursing career, upon which I got injured in 2003 and the pain has never left. I haven't worked now for 4 years. I struggle daily just to get the basics done around the house. I have a hard time getting out to do anything, unless I have to... Working on improving that.. My husband and I have moved from Hawaii (my home) to Washington for work. I really don't know anyone over here, but then again, how can I meet people, if I don't go out due to pain. I am interested in meeting new friends who, like me, struggle daily with Chronic pain, fibromyalgia, IBS and IC or anyone interested in being friends.. My support right now is my husband and my friends, who don't live near me. I love cats, I have three cats- (one of which is Leo (in my profile pic) He is an absolute "love bug". I also have adopted a outdoor cat (named Sammie) and of course My raccoon (Rocky). Go to UTube - search "Natasha's raccoon"' and see a pic of him eating....Don't worry he is wild and we do not touch him, He has been coming now for about 5-6 months now (alone), every evening for his Raccoon food (cat food) and is a pleasant sight to see to end the evening. Oh and I absolutely love Washington, its so beautiful. I also managed my first winter here in December 08. I survived. Look forward to meeting new friends.

Interests
Cardmaking, scrapbooking, papercrafting, jewelry making, reading, movies, meeting new fibromyalgia friends...and I Love my husband, 3 cats (Leo, Precious and Indy) and family.... I would love to do so many things. I would love to do more card making, scrapbooking and learning more new crafts and crafting techniques...and Do a cross stitch project I got recently, but its one day at a time... Especially with chronic pain. Everyday is a new day.. I just take each day as it comes and hope tomorrow will be better.

Hi N,
Been little emotional and pain up some ... found out my brother passed away Friday. Was a shock did not know anything was wrong. My younger sister passed away in Jan. my nephew last month and couple weeks ago my Aunt .. "ugh" Now my younger brother... Just kind of a bad year... Hope do not lose anymore family for a long lonnnng time now. Have therapy Wednesday and looking forward to it =D Hope you had a good weekend and the best week possible. Take care always, gentle hugs

Glad you are dealing so well with your pain. My hip was supposedly fixed by PT before my trip to KY, but all the airports and extra travel walking proved that false.
Can see a hip replacement in my future from the fall I took six years ago that Workers Comp is still covering medical care. Need less pain in my future! Weather here on the NC coast is so beautiful, less high 90's for a couple of weeks has been a relief and so enjoyable! Take care! Pat PS So wonderful to hear from you!

Hi, Natasha. Wow, it is hot out there! We've had record low temps over the last few days but I have a feeling that heat will be back soon. Oh, my, you've in heaven there with all the raspberries, cherries and strawberries! Yum! I would have permanently red fingers if I lived there. :) Take it easy and keep cool. Hugs, Deb

Hello, I'm new to this site as of today. I have chronic pain from Fibromyalgia all over my body. I am no longer working as a registered nurse. I have been out of work for 3 yrs now. I would love to meet some new friends who also struggle with the daily chronic pain.

- Had a reaction to it.

- Have tried it and it helps when your in pain...

Open Interstitial Cystitis (IC)
Hello, I am new to this group. I would like to say hello to everyone and say that I too have IC since I was 19/20 yrs old. Was diagnosed at that age, but had the signs and symptoms for a year or more before that. I don't know of any good threatments available, besides the Pyridium which I have all the time on hand 200mg... and of course a heating pad and/or ice pack. Would love to meet other who also have this syndrome and ... I also have fibromyalgia now for 5.5 yrs and of course IBS...
