I love you

Not as a lover,

as a friend

sibling

family

Why didn't I think of this sooner?

I wanted to tell you

my timing is now terrible

Have I ever told you how amazing you are?

Do you know?

Your strength amazes me

Your intelligence blows my mind

Your courage confounds me the most

Why haven't I ever told you?

I want to tell you now

Have I ever told you any of this?

I can tell you so much

But never have said these things

Some day, some day

I'll be in front of you and ask:
