I'm a 36 year old mom of two boys and three step kids. I married the most wonderful man in 2007...don't know what I'd do without him. I recently had gastric bypass surgery on 12/29/08. It's been a little rough going, but I know it was the best thing I could have ever done for myself.

I recently chose to do weight loss surgery. I have a million questions, and even though the people at my doctors office will listen to me all day and help where they can, they have never given me a definate answer on when my surgery will be. They just said I have to loose 30 pounds first......I'm SOOOO confused!!!

I'm a recovering meth addict. I will be 5 years clean on Dec. 10th of this year.

- Detox Working / Worked
- I detoxed at home. Worst 2 weeks of my entire life. I honestly didn't think I was going to make it through alive.
- Narcotics Anonymous (NA) Working / Worked
- I don't attend meetings much anymore. I know I need to, but I moved to a small town and just can't relate to anyone at the meeting down here.
