Does any of you go to a pain clinic? My uro is not comfortable giving the pain meds I need so
he told me Mon. he was sending me to a pain clinic. …
I'm a married mother of three great kids. My favorite hobby is drawing or painting. I work as a homecare nurse and I love the kids that I take care of. They have C.P. It's been a long battle trying to get diagnosed. I have had problems for years and no dr. would believe me. The sixth one finally found IC. I'm glad to know there's others but not to know they suffer as I do.

Hi
I was just diagnosed 6-5-08 I'm looking for women to talk to that are going …
Thanks, Jeanzy! Your info did help me... you wouldn't believe it but I asked my urologist before if she knew what Norco was and she didn't know, therefore I was confused about it. But, now I get it!! I saw my regular doctor today who gave me 50 of the 7.5 Vicadin for my next 2 installations, thank goodness. These have been a nightmare. She referred me to a pain specialist so I will have a new doctor I think by next week. I hope your doctor is able to give you something stronger for the really awful times, like getting your period. That is the worst time ever! I don't know if you ever tried acupuncture but it actually did work for me... the only problem is I can't afford it now. Maybe after I get a job, I can continue acupuncture again. Well, I hope you are having a great day! I appreciate your message. Take care!

Hi Jeanzy,
I was reading an old post that I posted awhile back about Hydrocodone. I hope you don't mind if I ask your opinion about this... my urologist will not prescribe Hydrocodone (Vicodin) anymore. The bad thing is I'm going through installs and I may have to cancel my next two if I can't receive the proper meds. I'm going to see my regular doctor who will refer me to a pain management specialist. I read your comment about Norco, does it work just as good as Hydrocodone? I'm looking to see if I can collect as much info about different types of meds and treatments for my upcoming appointments. Thank you again! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I feel lazy sometimes. Lol I just don't have any energy. I have always had a chronic fatigue problem. Now its even worse because I take Atarax at night. It really does help me sleep without pain and without getting up a hundred times. But I think it makes me lathargic during the day. I did stop drinking coffee for a couple days but I couldn't function. I am trying to keep it at one cup in the morning and I make it weak and use Sumatra coffee which is naturally low acid. Its not too bad I guess. I think after this year I am going to have to get a less stressful job and one that doesn't require me to get up so early.
I have noticed though that if I can force myself to workout or go to my dojo for class when I am really exhausted I get energized. I think getting my heart rate up gives me nature adrenaline rush. It's just hard to make myself do that sometimes. :)
happy mother's day.I hope u feeling better
I hope you are feeling better today! I know what you are going through!
I've spent 20+ years in and out of drs offices and the e.r. trying to get someone to listen that I was truely in so much pain. Dr. #6 finally found IC last week. I'm glad to know what it is but sad there is no cure. I pray some day it will be found.
