Keeping House Clean Mood
Saturday, December 20, 2008 | A Funny story

Brandon had some very good cleaning people and carpet people come in and get the house ready for Christie and her boys to move in at the end of December. Now I have all these rules and regulations he has given me to keep the house clean for the next couple of weeks. I am doing the following to help do my part to keep my room and bathroom clean and sparkling.

I am not that good at keeping my area clean. Just ask the housekeeping crew and carpet cleaners that came in to do the cleaning. My area is rather small (which I like, less to keep clean) so you would think there was not much to throw out. Well they had 200 lbs of trash to pitch. I know this because they charged me extra per lb to take it out. The carpet cleaners had to bring a 4 wheel drive carpet cleaner with 184 hourse power to get the carpet clean, that was a whopper of a bill. I do not want to go thru that again. I moved the garbage container we put out to the street under my window and will just throw out things directly. I will not take a shower so I keep the tub clean and spotless and I guess I will be very ripe when I get to Dad's after the holidays. I will just use heavy duty deorderant to get thru the holidays and just hope everyone I see has a cold so they will not be able to tell I have not taken a shower. If Winston (Brandon's bull dog) refuses to be with me in the mean time I guess I will have to use one of Pat's shower when she is at work, not sure if that will work, I just can claim I forgot I even did that and blame it on the alzheimer's. Last but not least I have built a brick out house out behind Brandon's house. I have a little wooded area I built it in and no one can see it. The neighbor kids can use it as a back stop and play baseball like my brothers and I used to do when we were kids. Very good memories from back in the 1900's. It has worked well, I put a heated seat out in it and it works well in the middle of the night. I have a path thru the snow so I do not get lost. Sometimes I do wonder off when I leave the house do to my condition. I just hope I do not wander over to the neighbors back yard before I get moved. I certainly  hope Brandon and Christie appreciate the efforts I went thru to keep the house nice, clean and sparkling for her move into her nice and clean new home. God Bless, Phil, Flops and Flossie

WOW SWEETIE! YOU EVEN BUILT AN OUTHOUSE? OR DID I MISSUNDERSTAND YOU THERE? MY GOODNESS ONE WOULD THINK THAT YOU COULD AT LEAST USE YOUR OWN BATHROOM. IT DOESN'T TAKE LONG TO CLEAN UP A BATHROOM IF YOU DO IT EVERY DAY. LORDY, IF I LIVED CLOSE ENOUGH I WOULD VOLUNTEER TO COME OVER EVERY DAY AND CLEAN IT FOR YOU SO YOU COULD USE IT TO SHOWER AND DO YOUR BUSINESS WITHOUT HAVING TO GO OUTSIDE.

YOU'RE SUCH A NICE GUY TO GO THROUGH ALL THAT FOR YOUR SOON TO BE DAUGHTER IN LAW. IF SHE DON'T APPRECIATE IT THEN YOU NEED TO GO POO IN HER NICE SPARKLING CLEAN BATH TUB! LOL,

I'm sure Christie will appreciate the clean house, at the same time I hope you don't stress yourself about keeping it clean.
If she knows about your AD then she needs to learn to deal with it and all it's little ramifications (like not always keeping things real clean).
I sure do worry about you out in the snow at night though, be safe my friend, hugs and loves, Georgia

Phil, I hope this is a 'joke' and that you don't really expect to be so 'sparkly' that you skip your normal routines of keeping your body clean. Just hire another housekeeper to come in and clean it before the lady moves in-- or to heck with it. You are part of the package, and you have so much to ADD, I am sure that she will not mind cleaning the bathroom. "Good idea" of having a dumpster outside your window. Maybe I could try that, as my room is certainly the messiest in the house, lol.
