  I have not been working since the beginning of April, and just applied for disability beginning of June - so I was very surprised to be awarded so quickly - I went through Alsup and I think they did a good job - now I am waiting as I am eligible as of October to start receiving my check, but I hear they are a month behind - so will not receive a check until end of November - were you depressed when you received yours? tis a funny feeling - I should be happy.
