Close Hypothyroidism
I have been taking synthroid for about 8 years. Its progressively worsening. I am now taking 1.75. Recently, I have missed nearly a months worth of doses of my synthroid. Just didn't get the prescription refilled and I have been severely busy.
Treatments
- Synthroid Working / Worked
- Mine works fine so long as I take it everyday. When I miss doses, I get very irritable, moody and depressed.
Close Thyroid Cancer
Type: Papillary CarcinomaA nodule was found to be cancerous and surgically removed Sept.10. I am having my entire thyroid removed Oct. 1. I will undergo radioactive iodine treatment in mid October.
Treatments
- Radiotherapy Too Soon to Tell
- I haven't had this yet. This is scheduled for mid October when my thyroid is completely removed. It will be injected through an IV.
