  well, it was H1N1. the ped confirmed it today. now she has a sinus infection to top that off. the doctor reassured me that i did the right thing pumping her full of fluids and trying to keep her temp down. i told her her staff kept saying it was only the flu and she said i am sorry you had to go thru that but they were wrong. still makes me mad, it was all there in the back of my head but they kept saying no, just the flu. i need to remember to trust my own instincts.

  Morning, Pinky! I just got on break. The school nurse just called me and said that Shawn got a staple in his finger. One side went all the way in. Can't imagine what he was thinking. What a monkey! He's his father's son. Hahaha! How are you today? How are you feeling? I'm doing pretty good. xoxoxo

  well she only made it thru a half an hour of school yesterday before she called me. once she got home she crapped out on the couch for three hours. when she isn't sleeping she is coughing. i am going to take her into the peds today. this has gone on far too long even tho they told me last week it would last 7-10 days. oh well. i hope all is well with you and yours. take good care of yourself for me :)

  kidlet finally went to school today, i don't expect her to make it without a phone call home to pick her up. i tried to get her to stay home since she felt like total crap this morning but she was determined and said she didn't want to get further behind. i have to give her credit for that. how are things going for you? i hope all is well with you and yours.

  I'm glad you're feeling a little better! Guess it was the pain meds that made it worse after all. I've had bad experiences on two different anti-depressants - they both backfired on me, and I don't even want to think about pain meds... I'm glad you're getting that sorted out and it sounds like you're on the mend. Good! Like you, I'm managing with ibuprofen for the aches and pains I've got left from my accident. But I'm really hating driving again...I'm working on that... Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for the flowers - how did you know I just love wildflowers?? :) Love and Hugs, Martha

  Glad to see you're feeling better. Do you have any plans for the weekend? I'm doing some Christmas shopping and getting the place ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas decorating. Haven't talked to you in a while. Hope to hear from you soon. Have a good weekend.
