August 16th, 2007, was the happiest day of my life. Siena May was 6 weeks early, and tiny (3.13lb), but perfect. April 12, 2008, life as we knew it ended. Our baby girl left us that night............She was almost 8 months old.

I’m With You
Thank you for sharing with me about how you and hubby are sad at different times and how frustrating it can be. The car is the worst time for me...especially in the mornings. I'm thinking of you during these sucky holiday seasons...I can't handle them right now either...hugs.

Close Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)
: I have lost a child to SIDSSaturday, April 12, 2008, I put my Sweet Pea down for a nap and took a nap myself. After an hour and a half, I got up, prepared her bottle, and went to wake her up....She wasn't breathing.....I called 911, screaming, did CPR, they were there in minutes, they worked on her for over an hour....then told me she was gone....I held her as she was turning cold.....I know it's everyone's worst nightmare...........she was my world.

- I think I may have gone crazy without them. They saw me through my mom's death too. The little nuts are comic relief at times when few things can make me smile.
