I'm 30 years old and my husband and I have been married for 2 years. We have been trying for a baby since August 2008 but I have PCOS so was put on Clomid to make me ovulate. I tried Clomid for 3 months and didn't have a good time with it, I ended up in hospital with ovarian hyperstimulation which had been made worse by the fact that I was pregnant, unfortunately I had a very early miscarriage and I was taken off the Clomid. I have recently started taking Metformin and hope this is going to be the answer to our prayers. The side effects have been pretty unpleasant but I've been told to persevere so here's hoping!

I have PCOS and have been trying to conceive since Aug 2008. My doctor tried me on Clomid but I overstimulated on it and now she wants me to try metformin instead.
