Ray of Sunshine
jitterygirl (04/23/09)
It's not bad out now..a bit cool but nice and sunny. This morning I walked the dog over to be groomed and I had to put my winter jacket back on and gloves it was so cold. The wind was wicked and my ears were cold which I thoroughly hate..gives me a headache. We're looking at an unseasonal hot weekend for this time of year but I look forward to it, I'll be in the garden planting my wild flower seeds. I'd like to have a bird feeder but I don't want to clean up bird crap..they just leave to much of it so I enjoy what birds come into the tree at the back. So far I've seen a blue jay, cardinal, sparrows and starlings but those two are common. Last summer we had a hummer bird so I'll be looking out for them this summer. I have wild flowers ready to plant that humming birds supposedly like and a hummer bird feeder.

High Five

Congratulations..I bet you're ecstatic that you finally have that contraption unlocked. Yay!! Freedom at last. I'm just sitting my butt in the house today, it's raining and really cold today and I really buggerd my back up but good cleaning to much on the inside and outside of the house. Isn't that what I usually do every year though...lol.

I don't do any baking at all during the warm weather..only winter puts me in the mood for carbohydrates and baking..lol. Our car is awful..it's filthy with a greyish white film on it from all the salt and sand from the roads. It's also bad for rusting out the wheel wells in cars to, we need to get that fixed but don't have the money for it, it would cost $900 and we have maybe $200 in savings to our name. Today we have only 12 c and then it goes down from there for the next three days, right down to 9c so cold again. However, I see temperatures going up to what it normally is in July, which will be 24 c this weekend so about 75 degrees F. I'm looking forward to that, gives the hydro bill a break and our bank account to. Today since I cleaned all the windows and outside of the house I'm cleaning the inside, whoopeee!!

No snow or cold here it's 20 c today or 68 F...I"m going outside to wash my windows and then sit in the yard and bake a bit. Roald got a sun burn putting some mini ties around my front garden yesterday. Today he's going out to wash the car, it's really dirty from the winter sand and salt off the roads. We've seen the last of snow, but not the last of cold..it will go right back down to about 5 C on Tuesday so I"m not happy about that.

Kiss
jitterygirl (04/18/09)
Here ya go ..kiss to fix that boo boo in the picture..lol. Anyway, I was surprised, I was expecting it would be a big incision and it's really not bad on the outside. It's great that they can operate now without making people look like frankenstein. It looks like it's healing pretty well, keep up the good torcher...I mean ahh..work..lol.

I'm just in checking here for messages, I was outside in the sunshine baking in the yard, at least I can turn up the dirt and pull out some more weeds for now. Tomorrow will be warmer then today so you can bet I'll be out again. I've skipped days on the walking video indoors and have been outdoors walking the dog leisurely. Those walks are good but don't burn fat the way the video helps you burn some fat. Not that I have a lot to burn, but some that I don't want to see from all the winter inactivity. I've just opened all the windows up to air out the house while I have the chance. Next week I see temperatures dropping down again and some rain so I'm enjoying this for the time being. I'm glad to hear that you're ahead of schedule with the physical therapy, I knew you would be, good for you.

How did today go? Are you still getting around okay without the crutches? I know you still needed them outdoors for longer walks when you go places. It was a nice warm sunny day today, and although I want to get planting my wild flowers I'm not going to risk it yet. I see single digit weather for next week and that means frost can form over night so I'll wait. I have my solar lights out and my other little tacky garden things...lol...I just love em..I had to put something out anyway for now, just to satisfy some of the itch so to speak.

Well Done
philly53 (04/10/09)
you deserve a ribbon for your hard work at PT. Glad to hear you are doing well. I am getting an injection in my back on the 29th to see if it will calm things down. It worked before so I am hoping for the best. Happy Easter!

Thumbs Up
jitterygirl (04/10/09)
I'm glad you're improving and doing so well. My exercise went well yesterday. I had a horrible nights sleep as well, up every hour running to the bathroom, that happens sometimes and I don't know why. Then kids came yelling down the street as per usual about 3:00 am pissed me right off. Anyway, another warm day with sun out, really motivating to me tired or not. Have a good dinner with your friends this evening. Happy Easter!!
