      I was fondled by my 1st cousin between the age of 4-6. I was sexually abused by a neighbor between the age of 12-16. My neighbor told me if I wanted to know more about sex, he would show me. So 2 months later I went over. And I kept going back. I was raped 2 times in my early 20s. Now I have flashbacks of my neighbor. I feel so dirty after these flashbacks. Lately I have been so emotional.

      When I talk about it to my psychologist, it helps. I just wish my psychologist's schedule was not so busy. I see my psychologist once a month.

      I am discovering that is OK to cry. I feel so much better after crying.
      Emotions Anonymous (EA) Working / Worked
      I would like to know more about EA.
      Leave Working / Worked
      Sometimes it is the best thing for me to get out and away from the house. It helps to focus on something else such as exercising at the gym, shopping, and walking. But when I am in an emotional crisis and very depressed, leaving the house is not a good idea. At that point I am looking for spots that are well hidden. That place would be the place to go to and end my life.

      I enjoy listening to Christian music and soft rock music. Sometimes I listen to the Oldies station.
      Prayer Working / Worked
      I ask God to give me strength through these memories and flashbacks of the sexual abuse from my neighbor. I am discovering God knows my hurts and pain. He is opening doors for me to express my hurts and pains of past sexual abuse.
      Walking Working / Worked
      Walking helps tremendously.
