I am a violinist, teacher and instrument-maker who has lived in the Pacific Northwest for 28 years. I read a great deal. Music brings me closest to what I call "spirit". I am interested in talking with other people about OCD and their experiences with it. I am also an alcoholic with 20 years of sobriety. My sobriety date is 1/14/89. I would also be happy to talk with any "Friends of Bill" ! For you "texters" out there, if you use "2" for the words "too" or "to", "4" for the word "for" or "fore" and the letter "u" for the word "you" and other texting abbreviations or other colloquialisms, please don't message me.

Please tell me you're going to share it with the world. I think it's great. What do you want me to tell you about it? I mean... you said you wanted the complete review. I've never written a review, but there's first time for everything.
Oh, my God. Just... Oh. May I admit that the potty humor made me giggle the most. Does that say something about me? And by the way, I didn't USED to have contamination issues. Now... Will give more feedback later. Haven't listened to the whole thing as it's a little late. Tomorrow. (Yawns and stretches.) I shall sleep with a smile on my face and the voice of a drill sgt. in my head.
Got it! Will listen this afternoon. Hehe! Thanks.

I'm an alcoholic with 20 years of sobriety. When I became sober, my OCD symptoms began. These consisted of counting, tapping and numerically- oriented compulsions. My first fears were about an upcoming performance. When the performance was over, fears of AIDS began to overwhelm me. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy was very helpful.I had 174 different compulsions at on point. AIDS fears continue to make life difficult. I would be willing to talk with anyone dealing with similar issues.
I am a musician, instrument maker and teacher. I am self-employed, live in the Pacific Northwest and very much enjoy my work. I got sober on January 14th, 1989, and recently celebrated 20 years of continuous sobriety. I look forward to talking to any and all alcoholics who are a part of this group, regardless of whether you found sobriety with the help of A.A., R.R., church, determination or other means.
I have a loved one/best friend in the world who has Fibromyalgia. I am here to stay informed, and be a better person by doing so.
