dear my dailystrength friends,
it's me smokefreemom it's now been now past 90 days since i quit with chantix today will mark 93 days now that i've stopped taking the chantix. and i feel great! but i still have to deal with the urges every once and a while but they disappear quickly. as they appear last time i type shared with you all in my journal i had mentioned that i was due to go on a trip to the white mountains in new hampshire but it got canceled because of the rain so it was rescheduled for two weeks from it's original date. so i got good news for you all the trip was carried out as planned yesterday we went to the white mountains august 22,2008 and who could ask for more beautiful weather than what the good lord provided us yesterday. we went to the bear show which was spectacular i tried taking pictures with my cell phone which also has a camrea but i ran out of memory on it so i had to delete some of the previous pics i had on it to make room for the bear show pics that i planned on taking but my friend steve brought his digital camera and took pics there also and told me that he would get rid of the pics that weren't too good and keep the rest that were good and burn them on a disk for me so i would have those pics that he took there too. what a good friend steve is i can't wait for those pics i can show my friends at my day program those pics on the computer they have there wel actually sally's computer she is the activity coordinator there she arranges all the arts and crafts projects and other activities there. well i am glad that i got to go there yesterday i was so inspired by the bear show that i bought myself a stuffed bear at one of the gift shops there even took pics of the bear trainer twice with my cell phone camera and steve took me and rachel's pic with the bear trainer cool huh? sorry that i'm rambling on but i'm still all excited about it. we checked out all the mountains even the one that had the old man in the mountain even though it lost it's rocks
but rachel bought me a bookmark with the old man in the mountain's pic on it before it fell apart. ok here is my quit meter's update Three months, one week, three days, 1 hour, 37 minutes and 3 seconds. 2041 cigarettes not smoked, saving $408.27.
