I am testing the affects of adding 20 ppm Colloidal silver and Brazil nuts with my Atripla
These are all of my labs
before meds
5/27/2008... cd4 88... cd4% 15.4
after Atripla
7/10/2008... cd4 223... cd4% 20.4
10/29/2008 ...cd4 147... cd4% 25.2
After Atripla, 20ppm colloidal silver and 8 brail nuts per day
4/6/2009 ...cd4 147 ...cd4% 26.9
I am still optomistic that the colloidal silver along with the brazil nuts are working well along side the Atripla. My doctor said I may have just came in on a bad day, because he said a cd4% of 20.0 should equate to about a cd4 of about 400 (currently cd4% is 26.90). And that a cd4% is a more consistent indicator of the strenght of my immune system.
The results of adding Colloidal silver seem consistent with what I have read:... "With Aids, be prepared for an ititial drop in T-cell count due to lysing (dissolution) of previously infected white cells by treatment destroyed HIV and its subsequent scaveging by macrophages since (cd4) tests count healthy and infected cells. CD4 counts may recover and continue to rise dramatically after a few months
since tests count both healthy and infected cells. "
In conclusion
It may be too early to tell for sure, but it seems like what I am doing is going as described. I guess the real test will come on my next labs to see if I do get a big increase in the absolute cd4.
For all you tech geeks out there like me...I hope this info is good for a foundation for you to learn and build on. I would love some other ideas from some Nerds (respectfully). It is so hard trying to figure this out by myself and my Doctor seems content with only prescribing Atripla.
