  BethAnne I appreciate your comments on my post about how these things affect even the smallest ones. My younger son was only a month old when I got PE and basically vanished from his life for awhile, and he showed signs of the trauma to him. He used to go into a panic every time someone else wanted to hold him thinking I had disappeared again, and even when I held him again he was inconsolable. Once I spent nearly two hours trying to calm him after someone else held him. People would tell me he didn't even know what happened, but I know he did. How could he not? He was inside me for 9 months, then I took total care of him for a month, then I vanished and as far as he was concerned a stranger (my mom) was taking care of him. So, just thank you for expressing understanding about even the very small ones being affected. Sarah
