I am 52 yrs old, feel like i am in my 60's. besides my heart condition I also am in pain 24/7, due to back injury. I feel alone, seems that my family and friends do not believe me. I do try to do as much I can by my self. I have been looking for a support system, I am happy to have read my email today from Med TrackAlert Heart Disease News letter. Thank You Med-Track! Want to meet other people who similar with my problems. Thank You for starting this group "DailyStrength" THANKS I live with my daughter she is 33, and is Austic, she is my beam of life!

Close Coronary Heart Disease
I had triple bypass and a pacer surgery in spring of 2003. Before my heart wanted to give up, I was active as best as I could with my 24/7 pain I endured due a back injury years before. Many years i lived with a bad heart, I did not realize, I had. Age 22 I had surgery, the lower part of my heart was cut. LONG STORY!!
Treatments
- Bypass Surgery (Coronary) Considering
- still here been 5yrs since the surgery.
- Plavix Somewhat Helpful
- is working, still have dizzy spells, numbness in my face, whole body.
Close Degenerative Disc Disease
I was informed of my disease in the 80's, so i am in pain 24/7, I am 52 yrs old, back in the 80's was told to have surgery, or I would not be walking by age 40, lol got 12 yrs on their suggestion. and will have many more (I HOPE)!! If any one out there has this would like to know what u do for pain. I hate going to doctors, they want a person to try this and that, I am allergic to many medications that is supose to help.

- useing the tens, only made my spine,legs whole body more painfull.
Open Chronic Pain
I am in pain 24/7, 365 days yearly. NO ONE understands, especially friends and family. I am allergic to asprin, I cannot take medication that is associated with asprin.

- Chiropractic Adjustment Not Working
- Chiropractors will not touch me anymore use to go to them, years ago
- Naproxen Not Working
- very Allergic to this type of medication.
- Nerve Blocks Working / Worked
- had 1 shot years ago helped for 10 years, darn that hurt so much that I do not ever want to go through that again.
- Oxycodone Considering
- So many drugh addicts where I live tht next to impossible to get the mecication.
- TENS Not Working
- Tried that too, could not stand the rest of my body vibriating. did not help my nerves at all.
Open Asperger Syndrome
My daughter is Austic like syndrom, elective mustism, DD. Seziures. As read about more disabilites, alot is like my daughter too. She is 33 and in good health again so far. Never know when the down fall will hit.

Type: Open AdoptionThe youngest sibling was adopted, 1999, she found us, 1994 I asked MOM to find the daughter she gave up, told Mom she should let the adoption place know we wanted to find her.
Open Gambling Addiction & Recovery
i have gambled forever, yrs ago I went to a ga meeting and was not comfortable at all in the group. I am a gambler and want to quit. HOW? other than when BROKE the purse is empty!

recent relationship, lasted 2 yrs, 5 months, 26 days. Was the most humiliating experience I ever went through concerning breaking up. I totaly lost it for 6 months. The man wanted to destroy me, I do not know why? I still get tears when I think about what he did to me and my children. HURTS DEEP!!

I passed one in 2001 or 02, was the worst pain ever besides having a baby, the pain was so bad, I actually went down to my knees.
Open Pacemakers
Have had a pacer since 04-2003, it takes care of me and keeps my heart rythem in the 60's when I have it checked, will show what days were bad ones for me, am asked what happened on that day, so far everything is accurate. the only thing I don't like is being checked every 6 months, due to the long drive and am in the office 1/2 hr. That is annoying.
