Guided Meditation works quite well. I have a tape with a woman talking through the phases such as tightening and releasing large muscles, counting backwards from 500, and visualization. I have also found my hobby of making beaded jewelry to be quite relaxing.
Hi, Thinking of you and havent seen you around much. I hope your doing well.. HUGS! Mary :-)
Good Luck on your appeal setting. You were denied SSDI when you applied at 54? Did they give a reason? Did your docs approve and support your application? I am approved for SSDI. But every three years they do require a Continuing Disabilty Form to be filled out where you sign that you ar still as affected as when you applied. Well I don't work anymore, I am much better for that reason alone!!! I admit I get nervous of the CDR form & I believe I will continue to be nervous about it until I turn 50. I had read that's when it is "safe for disability". When it is not questioned anymore.I sign the CDR form, that I'm still as affected as when i was awarded disability. I'm still taking medicine for MS and my MRI's still show MS. But not working & having some security makes me much less affected than I was. Were you given any reason on you denial? Are you working with a laywer? Is you doc supporting yo in your claim? Thanks. Be Well. Lynn
Sending you a big hug and hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving!
onset 1994-95, diagnosed 1997.thought pain in legs was arthritis, but sight changes accompanied pain so dr. sent me for mri. from 1997 to 2004 worked full-time, as well as part-time jobs. ms was just a name, pushed harder, alot of denial. serious hospitalization in 2004 and from there it's been downhill. finding acceptance finally. i have ms it does not have me, i strive everyday to do the best i can and not get mad at what i can't!
