About Me
I am full time caregiver to my husband, Jim. I also have 8 cats who are the light of my life. I never planned to have so many they just seem to find me. Already at our new house the stray cats have discovered that I am friendly and won't hurt them, I also have put out two bird feeders and two fairly small dishes for bird baths. My cats don't give a hoot about the birds which is probably a good thing because they have all discovered the feeders and eat a lot of seed a day. I used to care for my mom too, but my brother and the rest of my family decided that I did not do a good job, so I was excommunicated. The really bad thing is my brother and his wife have brain washed my mom against me. If she did not have dementia this would never be happening. My mama cancer came back at the end of October. She died on November 22, 2008. My heart was ripped out that day. I don't know if I ever can recover from this.

Hi Marianne Your kitty photo reminds me so much of my dear (passed-on) Cat "Jackson". I had him for 15 years and my ex took him away and put him to sleep that same year. Your kitties look just exactly like Jackson did as a kitty. :) Hugs CathyM

Thanx 4the Hug & right back @ya :) Im doing ok its hard that he lost the fight after 12yrs but again the Battle is finally Over &I'd like 2think he found God b4 he passed on! As 4Gran, No we decided not 2tell her, we feel it would just b 2much 4her.Shes n no condition 2grieve &I dont think she'd believe it anyway cauz she doesnt even remember him having cancer so unfortunately shes left 2think he doesnt call/come around anymore which is sad but otherwise I think it would b a disaster even though she'd 4get n a few days what it would do 2her n the meantime would probly send this disease n2 overdrive &I believe Lloyd(my uncle) would agree with me. I am full time caregiver to my mom and my husband. My husband Jim is 43. He had three strokes followed by daily seizures for nearly seven months. My mom is nearly 84 and had mouth cancer she just finished going through radiation treatments. I am trying to deal with her having dementia.
