I was reading your post and I am new to this. And new here. Going to the Doc today for the bone marrow results. The Doc told me that he thinks I am in the chronic phase. Of course I am scared it may be more advanced than that.

i'm a 43 f - diag. 16-17 yrs ago - only one bone marrow - meds are the worst thing about this disorder except it messes with your head to be diag. with cancer & not know much of what's going to happen. I just found this support group & i like it! You're in my prayers!

Close Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML)
I am 25 and I was diagnosed with Cml Apr 28 2008. I am of Jamaican decent however i have been living in the states for 5 years and just graduated from college.
Treatments
- Chemotherapy Working / Worked
- its was mild chemo and i was only on it for two weeks. Hydroexurea i think it was, spelling might be wrong
- Gleevec Working / Worked
- Not much side effect as yet i am on 400mg a day
