OMG!! I can't believe your news. It is so funny how many people say that when you are ready to adopt you will get pregnant. I guess in some cases it just may be true! I am so excited for you! Please keep us posted. Sorry about your DH. Sometimes they just don't understand...

My husband and I have been trying to conceive almost 5 years now. After about 8 IUI's, one in-vitro attempt, and 4 miscarriages we are now looking towards adoption. Very excited about the adoption.
Treatments
- Artificial Insemination Working / Worked
- Worked the first time I got pregnant. Not the second time.
- Clomid Working / Worked
- I've been on and off clomid due to my irregular cycle. It seems to work at the lowest dosage.
- Follistim Working / Worked
- Lots of eggs
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- released lots of eggs
- In Vitro Fertilization Working / Worked
- BFP
- Lupron Somewhat Helpful
- Did its job
Close Miscarriage
My husband and I have been trying for 3 1/2 years to have a baby. I had 2 miscarriages in 2006. One in January (7 wks along) and in November (10 weeks along). Both times I had no bleeding, but I did have a bad feeling. The ultrasounds showed no heartbeat. Causes of the miscarriages are unknown. June 2007 3rd miscarriage. Going through my 4th miscarriage now. Running out of ideas on what to do next.
Treatments
- Clomid Working / Worked
- Does regulate my periods on the lowest dosage and I do ovulate.
Open Adoption
After 5 years of fertility treatments and 4 miscarriages Dh and I have chosen to move forward with adoption. After a long journey and much thought we are very excited about adoption. We cannot wait til the day we bring our baby home. We just recently became active with American Adoption in October and are patiently waiting to be chosen by a birth mother.
