I found at age 32 that I had HCV and at that point I thought my life was over. Found out that I was infected when I was a baby from a blood transfusion. I was scared,but I had the love & support of my family & my faith in God to help me.I went through the treatment of Ribavirin & Interferon for almost 2 yrs. Here it is 9 yrs. later & so far my blood tests are still coming out good. I watch my liver enzyme levels. Would I go through all the treatments again knowing all of the side effects that might occur? YES,if it means that I would have more time with my family !!
