Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my question. They started Mom on the Klonopin the day before yesterday at .5 mg. at night to sleep and she slept like a baby until 7 a.m. What a blessing. She had been exhausted from not sleeping for 2 weeks. The Xanax did not help her sleep at all. I've read about klonopin being addictive so I will just have to monitor it closely. I've been taking it for 7 years now to sleep and I've never had to go up in dosage from .5 so hopefully that will work for her as well. Thank you again. Hope you have a good day today. Kim

I originally joined this site for the Parkinson's support group. I guess it is inevitable that Parkinson's patients often end up if financial problems. I might qualify for Deep Brain Stimulation surgery, but cannot afford the air fair for the six round trips from Portland to Nashville. Do any of you know of resources for this type of thing?
Open Anemia
Type: Iron Deficiency AnemiaI have low iron and red blood cells. My doctors say this is hardly ever from poor diet in the US. So, they have been doing a bunch of tests looking for sources of bleeding. Now they think I might have a tumor that is living off my red blood cells. Has anyone ever heard of this?
