About Me

I was born in Georgia and moved to Tennessee 10 years ago. This year I will have been married for 9 years to my high school sweetheart. I have two children in their 20's, neither of them are married. My father died in January after a horrible death from lewey body dementia and parkinson's disease. My mother, 77 years old lives with my husband and myself. We have two schnauzer dogs whom we love dearly. I no longer work outside the home. When my father became sick I stayed in Georgia off and on for a year before moving them to Tennessee to live with me. My father's diseases quickly progressed and was soon placed in nursing home where he resided until his death. Also, after my husband's mother died, which was very soon after we married, we brought his father to Tennessee and took care of him until he died several years ago. We would like to travel but I guess family comes first and we hope to do some of that in a few years. I'm pretty much a home person, I like to read, plant flowers, take care of people and I love my dogs!
