OMG the last three days have been a trip to hell and back. When I was dx last Friday by my pdoc as having BP he pulled me off the meds I was on (37.5 mg effexor xr and 150 mg wellbutrin xl) cold turkey and put me on titrating lamictal. He said I shouldn't have any withdrawl symptoms cause I was on the lowest dose of effexor. WRONG......I spent the day yesterday and today in bed because I was feeling so bad. Called pdoc at 8:30 a.m. this morning and said I couldn't take it. He put me back on 37.5 mg effexor xr and by 5pm this evening feel good.
Why don't these docs know about the meds they pull and put us on?
It can only get better now.
