    • Close Graves' Disease

      Graves since Sept. 2005, RAI in Dec. 2005. Hypo since May 2006, Synthroid 0.1 mg ever since. Mild TED. No other problems.

    • Close High Blood Pressure

      My hisband has high blood pressure. In an accident, his blood pressure shot to 298/150 and damaged his kidneys and eyes. He didn't have a stroke, tough bird. He takes lots of meds now, they want to keep his BP in the 120/70 level for the sake of his kidneys, which leaves him dizzy a lot.

      Atenolol Somewhat Helpful
      He takes Labetolol, which is also a beta-blocker.

      Had RAI in 2005, now taking Synthroid.
