the four fingers i think can be a or perhaps intentionally, in numerology (the number four that is) is a bad omen. the eyes are so sad and wallowing, and surreal, and wonderful. the swirls also project great surrealism care and wonder. of course i am also listening to Sopor Aeternu's "There Was a Country By the Sea," which is talking about a boy, who made who tomb for his mother, so she would stop haunting him . . . as i play this song and look into this pictures eyes and examin its details, i can't help but feel the tragic feeling of something being lost . . .
