Close Eating Disorders
I have had eating disorders for years. It started after I was raped in the military and had to maintain contol and I guess chose food. I don't hardly eat, then I eat normally. I think that when I get upset with something and feel out of control I don't eat and then I feel in control. It gets really frustrating. I like the sense of control but ...hate living like this the rest of my life. I never have gotten therapy for this, however, get therapy for bipolar. Glad to be here.

- Take for depression/anxiety no side effects for me at all
- Klonopin Working / Worked
- worksno side effects for me.5 mg 3x day
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- Works/helps put realistic thinking back into your life. Talk about current issue and get advice...extremely helpful. I go to a CNP...shes awesome.
- Support from Friends & Family Not Working
- They dont want to hear it.
- Topamax Working / Worked
- Works very well. I feel like I will never lose control with my eating as I have in the past and keeps me "normal". 25 mg is all my doc will give me. She thinks I will get too thin.
Close Sexual Abuse
I was sexually assaulted in the military. I have had problems ever since...PTSD and eating disorders. I have trust issues and relationship problems with men (due to past)...you wouldnt know..I am very outgoing and rarely have problems meeting them. I have one son and we live by ourselves. Im happier that way, for now.

- works for keeping me asleep with no side effects as long as it is taken at a reasonable hour.
