I have finally been diagnosed with DID here at home, although I've had the diagnosis from other states for about 15 years.
I was diagnosed for 6 months straight with "acute viral bronchitis" before the doctor heard me wheeze and told me I have asthma. That was 20 years ago.
My mom hit menopause at 32; I'm now 41 and I can't even get the doc to consider that might be what's going on.
I was diagnosed diabetic after being steroid-dependent for my asthma.
I was just diagnosed with hypothyroidism 12/2008. I'm still learning.
I am usually type 2, although when I have to go on steroids for my asthma, insulin becomes part of my regimin too
Both of my folks are 65 now, and I see little things, like muttering to themselves, arguing with the TV, irritability, forgetfulness, and things like that. I am the only girl, middle child and I don't know what to do with them. I live with them for now, and the boys don't so they don't see what I do.

I saw on the Today Show that many of our troops serving do not have pillows; they have to sleep on clothes. So, I am making pillows to send overseas; I'm calling my soon-to-be-official organization "Pillows From Home." We may affiliate with Packages From Home, if they will have us.
My cardiologist is talking about doing a sinus node ablation and I wanted to find out what the procedure involves risk-wise, how successful it is, and anything else I can.
I am facing the possibility of a sinus node ablation and am looking for any information I can find.
