Saw stbx for the first time in many months today. Our daughter graduated from Kindergarten this morning, but I had to go to radiation and missed it. I did stop by before to see her, give her roses, and congratulate her. Oh and stick his mail in her cubby.
This afternoon, my son "graduated" from Pre-K. It was a Grease-themed celebration-the boys in white T-shirts and jeans, the girls with scarves around their necks. Arthur (TehBoss), my godmother, and I arrived before his parents and him. His parents sat in the same row as my godmother and for some reason HE sat next to me and Arthur. (Arthur barely looked at him.)
Theo (my youngest) was first in the procession. Much pomp and circumstance. Giggle. Yes, they did play that. He went a bit off script though and ran out of line and over to me at first sight.
Fast forward - just received an email from stbx. My quick exit stategy worked (his weekend with the kids), he senses Arthur is disappointed in him (ya think?), and a P.S. about how great my new boobs look.

OMG....typical male. My X did that the other day, he came over to talk to the kids and then later sent me a text message saying he was sorry but he still thought I was HOT...Good God!!!!

To me, the stupid stbx stuff is the least important part of this tale. How wonderful that the new healthy nova got to share some great milestones with her wonderful children. Yay for nova! This makes me happy!

Kids! These milestones and the everyday hugs and kisses make life worth living. I don't understand the "Hey I'm fucking up my life, yours and the kids, but you look hot" way of the thinking. Don't want to either.
