About Me
I try to be a blessing to all those I meet. I have circumnavigated the globe and discovered that all of Mother Earth's children are related. I have been happily married to Denise since August 1974. We have 4 children and as of 2008 we have 3 grandchildren. I want them to be proud of me as I continue to grow in love and wisdom. I am a healer and a bringer of joy.

Close Coronary Heart Disease
I do all the right things. I eat healthy foods, exercise regularly, take cholesterol lowering drugs and supplements. In 2002, I was told that I had no heart problems. I was told the same thing less than two months before the second stent placement when I was 90 blocked in the RCA. I do not show adverse cardiac signs, even with treadmill stress tests. I needed to advocate for myself in both situations. Had I gone along with the cardiologists recommendations, I would be dead!

- Aspirin Working / Worked
- Lipitor Working / Worked
- Cholesterol level down to 159.
- Plavix Working / Worked
- Side effect of making me light headed when I stand up.
- Stents Working / Worked
- Two inserted in April 2002. One in Circumflex and on in the Right Coronary Artery. One inserted in April 2008 in the Right Coronary artery. My heart complains about the foreign objects (stents).
Close Bereavement
Type: Loss of a ChildOur son was killed in a motorcycle accident when he was 22 years old.

- We got involved with the Compassionate Friends. I was on the board. I did a lot of public speaking on behalf of Life Center North West for organ donation

- Music helps me to cry and at the same time soothes my soul

- Most of my friends were very supportive. Some people surprised me by how much they cared.

- The Compassionate Friends has been incredible support. It has been so important to be with people who truly understand what I am going through.
