Welp, there have been some changes. Evolution continues. I decided to get a Hog (bike). Having it built ground up. Too hot to build one myself. It will be finished end of Sept. There is a pic of a similar one in my DS photos. Mine won't be white though. Had to do something to 'get a life'. I hope it works.

5 months since last update. Evolution is too boring to note, but things are much better. Time gives a lot of healing. Purpose of update: increase progress indicator.

Add your supportWow, .. have certainly neglected this journal. Update long overdue. I closed on the house on July 1 and have been "moved in" since. It is great to have a place to leave the dog safely, .. inside or outside. Nice fenced yard. House needs some work, .. it was built in about 1935, but it's all brick, on a corner lot, big yard(s), rear alley, good parking, ... I am happy with it.
I'm enrolled in a PTSD program and start first meeting Sept 8. Looking forward to that, ... I know no one here in town. Some contact with other people will be nice. I stay inside too much,.. one of the symptoms of PTSD. Since moving in here, I REALLY isolate, and the bimonthly meetings will bring me out of the house a bit.
That's it for now,... things are much improved from a couple of months ago.

Good going ,my friend.Congrats on the house.I too have an dog,Specks, an english pointer,he has been an loyal friend .He actually helped me get back into the world. I made it an point to take him for long walks and dog parks.I met some people there and came to the realization that this is my world ,also, and to enjoy it. Again, good luck.. I'm a vet, VA retired, have many pain issues, and am depressed most of the time.

Your post has me singing the Beatles...can't buy me loooove. LOL. But man oh man can it buy STUFF. Some great STUFF! The wind will soon be in your hair. No helmet law in Texas right? (Not that you would ride without a helmet, I mean, that's irresponsible. What was I thinking?)

There is a helmet law in TX, but it easy to get an exemption .. and I have an exemption. Thank you all for the nice comments.
