    • Moment of Peace

      From Beth35 Thursday

I wish I could give you
Dreams upon which you would build your future
      Memories as a foundation,
      Tears with which you would
      wash your soul
Laughter on which you would dine
      Music to fall asleep on
Rays of golden sunshine with which you would awake
      Rain with which you
      would grow
      And Love, whose seeds
      you would sow,
      wherever you might go

    • Close Depression
      Type: Clinical (Major) Depression

Diagnosed PTSD by Veteran's Hospital. Spent 5 years taking care of my Mother after Father died and she had major heart surgery (within a month). She died from a car accident on Jan6-08. Obliterated the remainder of family. Roamed US in a too-small rv trailer with a 15 mo Dachshund puppy. Finally bought a house in Waco TX. A year later now, I can now dress and feed myself. Puppy is doing great though.

      Treatments

      Celexa Working / Worked
lowered anger, simple things were no longer BIG deals. Reduced sexual sensitivity and drive so switched to Remeron (Mirtazapine).
      Positive Thinking Working / Worked
Beats negative thinking. Use Serenity Prayer ... a LOT.
      Wellbutrin Too Soon to Tell
      Dr added it to Mirtazapine.
      Zoloft Working / Worked
lowered anger, simple things were no longer BIG deals. Reduced sexual sensitivity and drive. Suspected stomach irritation. Switched to Celexa

"seasonal?" migraines for decades. In the fall and in the spring. Weather changes from hot/cold wet/dry and vice versa. Right side only. 9.999 on the pain scale. Been to ER several times. Hit while lying down. Suspected sinus complication but CT and MRI show nothing. Tried flonase, and other medications. Nothing worked, suffered for decades.
